The whiskey ranges in age from 5-6 years depending on the taste of specific barrels. It is bottled at 90 proof and production is and will likely remain extremely limited. Notes: Black Ridge bourbon has a pleasant oak, vanilla, and fruit scent. Black Ridge bourbon starts off with a subtle oak taste with hints of vanilla and caramel. It is very smooth with just the right amount of spice. The finish is moderate with a nice almond taste and just a little bite. Black Ridge bourbon is relatively new and when I saw it at the store I had to pick it up. After I sampled it, I did a blind taste test with family and they really enjoyed this bourbon. If you see this bourbon we suggest you pick it up. Our contact at the distillery has informed us that production is and will likely remain extremely limited. If you see this bourbon we suggest you pick it up. Black Ridge bourbon is priced right at around $30 dollars.
