Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch Review

IMG_9160

Name: Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch

ABV: 50%

Proof: 100

Nose: Corn, Vanilla, Apple, Citrus, Wood, Juniper, and Spice.

Palate: Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, Butterscotch

Finish: Long, straightforward, and full of spicy cinnamon.

Overall: Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a true sipping bourbon. This whiskey pours a medium amber color. It is straightforward in its flavors and has a good balance of sweet and spicy. The finish is long and simple with a slight bitter flavor at the end. I enjoyed this whiskey neat and with a splash and it was enjoyable both ways. I had the pleasure of sharing this with my good friend Aaron and he enjoyed it as well. The small batch is the most inexpensive in the Colonel E.H. Taylor lineup and can be picked up for around $40-$50 dollars a bottle at most places and comes packaged in a nice tube.
