Notes: Red Stag Black Cherry smells very sweet, slight cherry smell. The taste is very sweet, with a strong artificial cherry taste, and slight warmth. This bourbon is a bit thick and very reminiscent of cough syrup or medicine. The finish is short and with a strong artificial taste. This bourbon would definitely be a mixer and could be used in several different cocktails. We tried this straight, on the rocks, and in a cocktail and was best enjoyed in a cocktail.
