Jim Beam Jacob’s Ghost White Whiskey Review

Jim Beam Jacob's Ghost Our Rating: 86%
Jim Beam Jacob’s Ghost

Name: Jim Beam Jacob’s Ghost White Whiskey

Bottled By: Beam Inc.

ABV: 40%

Proof: 80

Age: 1 Year

Notes: On the nose it has a nice oak scent. At first sip you can taste the oak with a slight corn taste. This whiskey is very light and has some nice flavors of honey, oak, vanilla, and corn with a very nice consistency. The finish is moderate with a sweet vanilla honey taste and minimal burn. Overall, this is a nice young whiskey. We tried it neat, on the rocks, and in a cocktail. It was best enjoyed on the rocks or in a cocktail. For the neat drinkers out there, this one probably isn’t for you.

History: Jacob’s Ghost gets its name from Jacob Beam the founder and first distiller at Jim Beam. He originally started distilling white whiskey. This is his recipe from over 200 hundred years ago.
