Redemption High Rye Bourbon Review

Redemption High Rye Bourbon Our Rating: 92%
Redemption High Rye Bourbon

Name: Redemption High Rye Bourbon

Bottled By: Bardstown Barrel Selections

ABV: 46%

Proof: 92

Age: 2 years

Notes: On the nose Redemption Bourbon has a nice sweet almost fruity scent with some wood and rye. The taste is smooth with a strong wood and rye taste with some berries and light spicy mint. The finish is moderate and has a spicy rye taste. This bourbon has a mash of 38.2% Rye, 1.8% Malted Barley, and 60% corn. A lot of folks I spoke with could really taste the corn in this one, for me it wasn’t as noticeable. Although this is a young whiskey I found this one to be very smooth and very drinkable. Although there are probably some other great choices for around the same price, I found this to be a great whiskey, and one that I will surely keep on hand.
