Name: Pennypacker Bourbon
ABV: 40%
Proof: 80
Our Rating: 84%
Notes: On the nose Pennypacker has a nice wheat and spice scent to it. At first sip you can taste the wheat, some spices, and a noticeable anise flavor. The finish is short with a slight burn and similar flavors of wheat and anise. There is not a lot of flavor with this one. I tried this neat, on the rocks, and in a cocktail. It was definitely enjoyed best in a cocktail and did pretty well. For the price of around $22.00 there are probably a few better options in this category that most would opt for. I think if the price were lower it would be great for cocktails.
22$? It costs 9,99€ in Germany, around 13,33$.
