Southern 75 Recipe

IMG_9138

The Southern 75 has several different variations to it. Ours like some, calls for an IPA and bourbon. Adding the bourbon will do a nice job of taking the bite off the IPA and mellowing everything out quite a bit. The result will be a deliciously smooth drink that is perfect for the cooler days and nights. We hope you enjoy it.

6 oz. IPA, preferably one with a good amount of citrus and hops

2 oz. Bourbon, we use Old Forester or Four Roses Yellow Label

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp. simple syrup

In a chilled pint glass, pour in the beer, bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Give it a few gentle swirls with a bar spoon, serve, and enjoy.
