Product Name: Bittermilk No. 3 – Smoked Honey Whiskey Sour
Review: It was recommended that I try this mixer with scotch and so that is how I made my first one. I followed the instructions entirely and was very impressed with the result. Before I took my first sip I could already smell the smoked honey which was nice. At first sip I got a nice sour flavor which faded and allowed the smoked honey and scotch to come through. The sharp flavors of fresh squeezed lemons and smokiness of the scotch really complimented the smooth, rich flavor of the honey. The honey is the most noticeable flavor in this cocktail, which I really enjoyed. The smoke flavor and aroma in this cocktail was incredible. I also tried this using bourbon and it was also very enjoyable but when using scotch it really adds a burst of flavors. Like the previous two Bittermilk reviews, you know you are using a high quality mixer, as it makes a delicious whiskey sour.
