Bourbon & Oak is officially one year old today. When I started the site a year ago I never imagined it would have come this far. We are very fortunate to have some great followers and we really enjoy the conversations we continue to have on a daily basis. I’ve got the chance to meet a lot of you in person, share a drink and a story, and it has always been a very rewarding experience. I am far from an expert on the subject of bourbon and I’m still learning everyday, but I thank you for all the great feedback you have provided. I am going to continue to purchase some whiskey and write my simple reviews when I can and I hope you will continue to return to the site and check them out. Special thanks to all of you, without you Bourbon & Oak would not exist. I also wanted to give a special thanks to Marlon Hall, Marlon has shared some excellent and very unique recipes with me this year and I am truly grateful that he takes the time to do so.
