Last week I took my family to Disney World for vacation. We had a great time and lots of people with us, my two brothers, my oldest brothers family, my parents, and cousins. The weather was hot and humid which was the only downfall if you will since I was just getting some perfect fall weather here in Atlanta. I was able to escape the happiest place on earth for a few and make a visit to Sea Dog Brewery nearby. We had two flight trays and both were great. My wife ordered her four, apricot, blueberry(with fresh blueberries), raspberry, and a summer ale. I ordered 3 IPA’s and a stout. One of my favorite beers available this time of year is Shipyard Pumpkin Head. Shipyard happens to be Sea Dog’s sister company and so they had some available and our waitress brought me one and added sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the rim of the glass. It was delicious! Tasted just like pumpkin pie. We had some bourbon as well but it was just standard stuff, wasn’t able to find anything special. If you are ever in the area be sure to check out Sea Dog Brewery, very cool place to visit.
