Four Roses Bourbon will host its ninth annual Four Roses Flower Hour on Friday, February 12 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Nanz & Kraft Florist in St. Matthews (141 Breckenridge Lane). The special Valentine’s Day shopping and bourbon tasting event benefits the American Heart Association.
Four Roses Flower Hour provides an opportunity to take care of last-minute Valentine’s Day gifts while sipping award-winning bourbon and enjoying complimentary appetizers with Four Roses Bourbon Master Distiller, Brent Elliott. The first 100 guests to arrive will also receive a special gift from Four Roses Bourbon.
Nanz & Kraft has prepared a special “Go Red for Women” flower arrangement, available for purchase during the entire month of February in store or at www.nanzkraft.com. Nanz & Kraft will donate $10 of each “Go Red for Women” bouquet purchase to the American Heart Association.
Flower Hour also features a silent auction with an array of items, including Four Roses Limited Edition bottlings, a Nanz & Kraft Valentine’s bouquet, a hotel package at Marriott Louisville East and more, with proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.
“This event continues to get bigger and better each year,” said Brent Elliott, Four Roses Master Distiller. “It’s an evening where people can kick off their weekend, wrap up Valentine’s Day shopping, and donate to an important cause – all with a bourbon in hand.”
Last year, the event raised more than $3,000 for the American Heart Association.
“We look forward to this event very much each year,” said Matt Rountree, communications director, American Heart Association. “Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women, so it means a great deal to us to partner with Four Roses Bourbon and Nanz & Kraft to raise awareness about heart health, and much needed funds for our community.”
A minimum donation of $10 will be collected at the door. Attendees are encouraged to wear red in the spirit of Valentine’s Day and heart health awareness.
