Welcome to the fourth issue of The Oak Guide, the official magazine of Bourbon & Oak. This is the Spring 2016 issue and we have some great content to share inside.

When I think of Spring there are lots of things that come to mind but nothing reminds me of Spring more than baseball and the Kentucky Derby. Few things in life bring happiness like sitting in a ball park on a sunny afternoon, enjoying a cold drink, and listening to the crack of a wooden bat or cheering on your pick in the derby as you sip on a well made Mint Julep. This issue of The Oak Guide is loosely focused on baseball and the derby and has some great reviews and recipes inside. We’re pleased to kick off Spring with this new issue.

The Oak Guide is produced by the Bourbon & Oak team in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in the great state of Virginia. We hope you enjoy the magazine as much as we enjoy working on it.
