Lexington & Beyond: 11 Things to Do in the Bluegrass Region this Fall

The leaves are falling, the mash is cooking and the thoroughbreds are grazing on the rolling hills. When you’re in the Bluegrass State this autumn to visit our legendary distilleries, be sure to also plan some time to explore the Horse Capital of the World. Whether it be a day at the races at Keeneland’s fall meet, a stroll through the Kentucky Horse Park or a day of horse farm tours with Horse Country, there are so many ways to experience the greater Lexington area.

    There’s no better way to experience horse racing than at theKeeneland’s Fall Meet. Races run daily Wednesdays through Sundays in October, the 7th through the 29th.
