Drinks: Today we feature something on our list of bourbons we want to try. Widow Jane Bourbon Whiskey is made with pure limestone from the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, New York. I have not had the chance to try this one yet but I am very interested in doing so. Here is the tasting notes according to the website.

Aroma: Butter, Cream, Toffee
Front: Cherry Wood, Olive Oil
Mid: Orange
Finish: Burnt Orange and Spice
After Glow: Light tannic fuzz

Unfiltered for the deepest color and flavor.

  1. I bought a bottle of this at my local wine warehouse. It was a good purchase, a very nice drinking bourbon. they also have a Rye which was released after the Bourbon. I like the bourbon better, but the Rye is very nice as well.

    1. Thanks for taking the time to let us know. This one really caught my eye for some reason, I am very interested in trying it. Glad to hear some good feedback.
