November’s Whiskey of the Month is one that we have been enjoying for years but haven’t actually reviewed on our site. Old Forester is a standout in the bourbon world. It is an inexpensive bourbon that is full of excellent flavor and character. Perfect for sipping or in a cocktail Old Forester is a go to for many and it is with great pleasure that I announce Old Forester as our November 2014 Whiskey of the Month. Been through most of the mainstream single barrels and many single malt Scotch whiskies. Old Forester is my mainstay dietary staple, building block of the food chain. Distinctive smokiness without being over-ryed, no burn, and smooth finish. Best hands down, bar none
It surely is a staple around here as well. A delicous whiskey that deserves its shelf with other top shelf spirits.
