Developed by Jeff Faile of Washington, DC, this drink morphs from a Manhattan into a Boulevardier as the Campari ice cubes slowly melt.
Ice Cubes:
¾ oz. Campari
2 oz. water
Mix together Campari and Water and freeze in ice trays several hours before making cocktail.
Cocktail:
2 oz. bourbon
1 oz. sweet vermouth
Orange bitters
Orange twist, for garnish
Put the Campari ice cubes in a rocks glass. Pour all ingredients over the ice and garnish with an orange twist. Enjoy.
